And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.ģAnd God said, “Let there be light,” a and there was light.ĤAnd God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.ĥGod called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.”Īnd there was evening, and there was morning-the first day. There has been a growing disbelief of this book of Scripture as authoritative, even though Jesus Himself affirmed Genesis as truth. The Book of Genesis is foundational to all Christians.
